Hello my beautiful readers!
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. It is a freezing 24 degrees here today so I am bundled up inside with my hot tea avoiding the cold. I thought it would be a great time to tell you all about my top two clay masks that I use on a regular basis.
Clay masks are an essential for me. They are great for purifying skin, and reducing the size of pores. I use a clay mask at least twice a week to deep cleanse my skin. The two I will be sharing today are my favorite because I truly see the difference they make. If you’re looking for a good clay mask you’re in the right place just keep reading!
My First Favorite!
- Retails for $26 US
- Mediterranean rose clay, Canadian willow herb, and exfoliating jojoba beads deep clean while refining skin texture.
- Pores will vanish!
- Clarity is restored for a radiant and smooth complexion.
- Formulated WITHOUT Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates.
This is my all time favorite clay mask! I honestly get the best results after using this mask. I love that it is a two in one type of mask. I really enjoy the exfoliating jojoba beads. When I use this on a regular basis I do notice my pores shrink, my skin stays smooth, and I have more of a natural glow to my skin. If you have dry skin this mask would be perfect because unlike other clay masks this one does not dry out your skin. You still need to moisturize after using this, but your skin feels hydrated right after wiping the mask off. It deep cleans your skin, makes your complexion both radiant and smooth, and it does not dry out your skin. You can’t beat that! I highly recommend for everyone to try this mask out. It truly makes an amazing difference in your skin.
My Second Favorite!
The Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask (The website shows online only, but I purchased mine in store)
- Retails for $23 US
- Includes Wild-harvested seaweed from Ireland.
- The seaweed balances skin tone and purifies and clarifies complexion.
- 100% natural clay complex cleanses skin, revitalizes skin, and draws impurities out of skin.
- It is packed with vitamins and minerals that help moisturize skin.
- Vegetarian, NOT tested on animals, contains community fair trade ingredients, NO Phthalates, NO Triclosan, and NO GMO.
This mask is amazing! When I feel like I need to really deep clean my pores this is the mask I reach for the most. This one is more intense than the first. If you have sensitive skin I would test it on a small patch of skin first to ensure it won’t irritate your skin too much. If you have dry skin be cautioned that this one is very drying. You can still use it, but be sure to use an intense moisturizer after you take it off. The reason I love this mask so much is because you can feel it pulling all the impurities out of your skin. Any time my pores feel clogged or I’m breaking out a lot I use this mask, and my skin feels deeply cleaned afterward. This is another one that you can clearly see that it is working. If you want something that will go deep into your pores to pull all impurities out then this is the clay mask for you!
