Hello My Beauties!
Good evening everyone! I hope you all are having a good start to your week. This week is a hectic one getting ready for the holidays. I do work a lot this week, but I have posts planned for this week so I won’t miss a day.
Today I want to share a mini Sephora haul with you all. I didn’t purchase a lot because I have been focused on buying Christmas presents. However, I did need to pick up a couple of things, and I also used some of my beauty insider points. So I figured I would share with you what I got! I hope you enjoy. 🙂
The main reason I shopped Sephora’s website was to pick up a new bottle of this cleanser. This is my current favorite face cleanser. I won’t go into much detail on this product since I just recently mentioned it. If you want to know my in-depth thoughts on this product check out My Night Time Skin Care Routine. They do sell a larger bottle of the cleanser, but I typically pick up this size. This bottle will usually last me about 3 months. My old bottle isn’t empty, but it is close so I needed a back up bottle.
One of the last times I placed an order on Sephora I received a sample of this eye shadow, and I fell in love with it. This is the matte shade named Scented Candle. It is a gorgeous light mauve color. I think it is the perfect mauve to put in the crease. I used my sample, and I knew I had to purchase the full size. The Sephora Collection eye shadows are one of my favorites to use. They are soft, buttery, pigmented, and they blend easily. If you’re someone who doesn’t like single shadows these are good ones for you because they are made to lift out to be transferred to a Z palette. These are also more on the affordable side. They are $10 US which is higher than some, but still within an affordable range.
Since liquid lipstick is probably my most favorite makeup item ever I decided to try out a brand I haven’t tried before. I have never tried anything from bareMinerals so I figured why not start out with testing out their matte liquid lipcolor. This is a pale pink nude named Kissy Face. This shade is very light on me if I apply it alone. In the picture I wore a mauve lip liner under the lipstick which darkened it up a little. When I applied it alone I noticed it went on patchy, but I was able to make it work. It applied a lot better with the lip liner beneath it. It lasted about 5 hours on me without fading, and that included me drinking and eating. I had a greasy lunch which is what made it break down at the 5 hour mark. Prior to that it held up pretty well. It isn’t as long-lasting as I would like it to be, but it isn’t bad. I am going to continue to test it out, and I will update you in a later post with my final thoughts. (Retail for $18 US)
GlamGlow 500 Point Reward
The last thing I picked up was this beauty insider 500 point reward. I have always wanted to try out GlamGlow products, but they are on the expensive side. When I saw this sample kit I thought it was worth cashing in some points to try out the brand. This set comes with 4 sample size tubes of GlamGlow products. It includes the supermud clearing treatment, the youthmud tingle exfoliant treatment, the thirstymud hydrating treatment, and the supercleanse daily clearing cleanser. I have not tried any of these yet, but I am excited to see how they work. I will do a post later on my thoughts on each of the samples once I have tried them a few times.
That is all for my Sephora haul. It is definitely a small one, but I still wanted to share it. If you have tried any of these products I would love to hear your thoughts on them! Thank you so much for reading!
