February, Love It or Leave It?

Welcome Back My Wonderful Beauties!

The time has come for another love it or leave it! If you’re new to my blog thank you for checking it out, and love it or leave it is where I talk about the products I loved throughout the month as well as the ones I didn’t like so much.

One thing I am doing differently this month is I have included a couple random favorites of the month that aren’t beauty related. I thought that could be a fun twist to let you all get to know me better!

So If you’re curious to hear what I have been loving and disliking this month just keep on reading!

Love It! ♥

PÜR Cosmetics Bare It All Foundation

If you have read any of my latest posts then you know I am obsessed with this foundation! I think it is absolute perfection! If you haven’t checked this out yet then stop reading and go buy it. Seriously, you need this in your life! LOL 😛

If you missed my full review you can read it here, Bare It All

L’Oreal Pro Infallible Matte Foundation

The rare days that I wasn’t wearing the PÜR Cosmetics foundation I was definitely wearing the L’Oreal Pro Infallible Matte foundation. I used to LOVE this foundation, but I got into so many new products that I hadn’t repurchased it. Late last month I decided to purchase it again, and I am so glad I did. It gives good coverage, has a smooth matte finish, and it is long wearing. Everything I could ever want in a foundation! Plus it is an affordable option.

Makeup Forever Duo Matte Powder Foundation

This month I found myself reaching for my duo matte powder foundation to set my face over any other powders I own. I like this powder foundation because it makes my skin matte while also adding a little more coverage. This has a strong yellow undertone so I like to combine it with my cool tone foundations to neutralize the look I get. I also love that it never looks too cakey on my skin.

You can find this product at Sephora

Nyx Cosmetics Blush in Taupe

All month-long the only thing I used to contour my face was the Nyx HD blush in the shade Taupe. All my pale beauties out there know how hard it can be to find a good contour color. This one has honestly become one of my favorites! It gives that shadow you want from a contour without being too warm or too muddy looking. It is perfection as a contour!

PÜR Cosmetics Mineral Glow Bronzer

I received this bronzer in my January Boxycharm! At first glance I thought it was going to be to warm on my skin and also to shimmery for my liking. However, it is such a subtle bronzer that it looks beautiful on the skin. The glow is so subtle that you almost don’t notice it. The color is perfect! It warms up the face without looking orange. I have not been excited about a bronzer in a long time, but this one is amazing!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaarty

Tarte’s amazonian clay blushes are my all time favorite blushes! They are gorgeous, buildable, and last a long time on the cheeks. I received the shade Paaarty in my Sephora birthday set. Ever since I received it I have worn it non-stop! It is a gorgeous pink-nude shade. You can go in with one layer for a subtle flush of the cheeks or build it up to be more intense. You can’t over do it with these blushes. They are top-notch quality!

Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil in Tiramisu

I have raved about these eye liners before because they are my absolute favorite. The claim to be a 12 hour wear pencil that is waterproof is 100% true! I picked up the shade Tiramisu, and it is the only color I have used all month-long! It is a gorgeous dark brown with a hint of warmth to it. I think it is perfect! I have even been using it on my water line and tight line with mascara and no eye shadow. It just gives a natural definition to the eyes.

You definitely need to check this one out at Sephora!

Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stains

These liquid lips are AMAZING! I couldn’t even pick out a single shade because I have loved wearing all of them this month. They glide on smooth with high pigment, and they last all day long! I am a lipstick addict especially when it comes to liquid lipstick. I am very critical about what I like, and these are one of my newest favorites. Trust me they are worth the purchase, and they have a HUGE color selection.

Check them out at Sephora

Makeup Forever Artist Liquid Matte Lipstick shade 105

The only thing I wore more than the Sephora cream lip stains was shade 105 of the Makeup Forever artist liquid matte lipstick. This is truly my top favorite lip product right now. The color is a typical Kayle color, and the formula is AMAZING! I honestly think it is perfection. Makeup Forever just slayed the liquid lipstick game, and I am mind blown. These last incredibly long! I even ate oily food with this on, and it while it did fade a little for the most part it stayed in place. That is all I could ever ask for in a liquid lip.

You really have to check these out at Sephora

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator

I was blown away when I saw this in my Boxy charm this month because it costs $79 US! That is an EXPENSIVE product!! Dr. Brandt is known for amazing quality skin care. Although, I got this in my Boxy Charm when I run out of it I will be purchasing a new one. When it comes to skin care I am willing to splurge to get the best quality. This exfoliator is great! I HATE the smell of it, but I look past that because it works. It is not too rough on the skin, but it deep cleans your skin. My skin feels clean and beyond smooth after using this. I can’t be without this product!

Check it out at Sephora, it is worth the splurge!

Bath and Body Works Sugared Lemon Zest 3 Wick Candle

All month I have been burning this candle! I love the scent of it! I am a fan of lemon scents because I find it relaxing and refreshing. When I smelled this candle at the store I knew I had to have it! In the evenings after a stressful day I have been putting on a face mask, and burning this candle to relax before bed. It is a fresh lemon scent that smells like you just squeezed fresh lemon juice. I highly recommend it if you like lemon.

The Bazaar of Bad Dreams by Stephen King

Throughout this month I have been reading my way through Stephen King’s The Bazaar of Bad Dreams. It is a collection of his short stories, and they are absolutely brilliant. I love the work of Stephen King. The creativity he possesses is beyond words. He is one of my favorite authors. If you like stories that have a little bite to them then you definitely need to check this one out!

Cover FX Mattifying Primer with Anti-Acne Treatment

I hauled this primer at the beginning of the month when I did my birthday shopping at Sephora. I had high hopes for this product, but it just didn’t work out for me. My first issue with this primer is it didn’t keep me matte. It did give me a matte finish for about 4 to 4 1/2 hours, but that isn’t long enough for me. I want my primer to keep me matte for 8+ hours. The other issue is that it unfortunately broke me out. My skin is very sensitive when it comes to primers. A lot of them that I have tried have broken me out. I thought since this had anti-acne treatment in it I wouldn’t have a problem with it. However, after repeated use I noticed it was causing breakouts. Therefore, this product did not work for me, and I would not repurchase it.

Boscia White Charcoal Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray

If you have followed me for a while you may remember me going back and forth with this product. I never really loved it, but I thought it was alright. However, recently I realized a major issue with this product. I have noticed that it breaks down my foundation throughout the day. I have used it with foundations that typically hold up great all day long, and about 4 hours in it starts to break up. It also seems to make my skin get oily faster than normal. It just does not set my makeup or help it last longer. I definitely would not repurchase this product, and I will not continue to use it.

That’s all for this months love it or leave it! Thank you so much for reading it!
