Hello My Beauties!

I hope you all are having a great holiday weekend! For those of you that celebrate the 4th Happy 4th of July! I know I am a few days early, but I also know that a lot of people are celebrating already. So have fun and be safe!

Today I am going to share with you all of the products I was obsessing over during June, and the products that just didn’t work for me. If you’re interested to hear more then just keep scrolling!

Love It!

Acne Complex Clarifying Cleanser by Murad

Murad Cleanser

Murad’s acne complex clarifying cleanser has become my new favorite cleanser! The past two months I have really changed up my skin care routine, and I couldn’t be happier with it. For the first time in years I have found my skin breaking out a lot. I use this cleanser twice a day, and I honestly notice a change in my skin. It has really helped to treat my existing acne, and also to stop new acne from forming. If you have any issues with acne I highly recommend checking this one out!

Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief by Clinique

Moisture Surge

I have been using a Clinique moisturizer for years, and I loved it! However, I really wanted to try something new. One moisturizer didn’t work out which we will get to later. So I tried out this new Clinigue moisture surge extended thirst relief, and I am so glad that I did. I love how this moisturizer makes my skin feel. It is a light weight gel formula that sinks into the skin almost instantly. You need the smallest amount of this, and your skin will feel intense moisture. I highly recommend this especially if you have oily skin but need some hydration.

Clay Stick Foundation by Tarte

sti 1

If you read my recent review My New Favorite Foundation! then you definitely saw this one coming. Tarte’s clay stick foundation has been hyped up all over social media, and it is 100% worth the hype. I have been wearing this foundation non-stop all month long, and I still love it. It just looks so flawless on the skin, and it wears for a long period of time. Check out my full review to hear all my thoughts on this amazing product. Tarte rarely disappoints, and they knocked it out of the park with this one.

Lid Lock Clay Eye Base by Tarte

Tarte truly blew my mind with their new product releases. The lid lock clay eye base is my new go to eye shadow primer. I love that it has pigment in it! My eyes have a lot of veins that I like to hide before applying eye shadow. This primer hides any imperfections on the eye lids because it does have good pigmentation. It also makes your eye shadow stay flawless all day long! When I need an eye look to last I know I can rely on lid lock.

Pro Glow Highlight and Contour Palette by Tarte

Pro GlowPro Glow Swatch

The Tarte pro glow highlight and contour palette is definitely not new, but it is new to me. This product was sent to me, but as always I still keep my opinions real and honest. This palette is seriously great! The contour shades are a great tone, and I was excited to see that they do work on my skin tone. The reason this palette is in my favorites though is because of the highlight shade Stunner which is the 4th swatch. I am obsessed with this highlight! It is the only highlight I have worn all month long! It gives such a gorgeous glow! The only shade I don’t like is Lit which is the first swatch. That shade is slightly too glittery for me, but the rest of the palette is a total hit!

Baked Blush Luminoso by Milani

Chances are you have definitely heard about Milani’s baked blush in the shade Luminoso! It was definitely hyped up all over social media a long time ago. This is one of those blushes that I have had in my collection for a long time, but honestly forgot all about. I am constantly testing out new products, and this one got pushed to the back of my collection. This past month I have rediscovered it, and I have not been able to put it down. It gives your cheeks such a gorgeous peachy glow. It is perfect for summer time!

Contour Eye Pencil 12 Hour Wear in Surfer Babe by Sephora Collection

Eye PencilEye Pncil Swatch

I have raved about the Sephora Collection contour eye pencils for a long time! The black and brown pencils I alternate using almost daily. These pencils claim to be 12 hour wear and to be waterproof. I 100% agree with the claims! These pencils stay in my water line all day, and that rarely happens with other pencils as I have watery eyes. I recently picked up this new shade called Surfer Babe. It is a gorgeous teal blue, and it adds a perfect pop of color to any natural look. I have been using this the past month to add a little color into my daily simple makeup routine, and I love it!

Shea Butter Ultra Rich Moisturizing Body Lotion w/ Vitamin E & Aloe by Shea Moisture

Shea Moisture

I have had this moisturizer for quite some time. I got it on clearance, and I originally purchased it because it smelled amazing! It is a great lotion, but I didn’t use it as much as I thought I would. However, this past month I found the perfect use for it! I got sun burned all over my chest, shoulders, and back a few weeks ago. I definitely wanted some relief, but I hate how sticky aloe can feel after you apply it. So I applied this lotion instead. It soaked into the skin like any other lotion, but it also provided relief for my sun burn! The aloe vera in it helped calm my skin, and since it is lotion it didn’t leave that sticky feeling on the skin. I will definitely be using this on any future sun burns!

Right Behind You by Lisa Gardner

Right Behind You

Lisa Gardner’s Right Behind You was hands down my favorite book of the month. This is the first book I have read from the author, but I have now started reading her others as well. This book kept me intrigued the whole time!  Lisa Gardner is a brilliant author. This book had so many twists that it kept my mind spinning until the very end. You think you know the story until the last couple chapters, and then your mind is blown by how everything truly ties together. Highly recommended read!

Leave It!

Acne Complex Skin Perfecting Lotion by Murad

Lotion Miss

I bought this Skin Perfecting lotion the same time I bought the cleanser. I hoped this would further help my skin with acne problems. However, after only two uses of this product I had to return it! I had the worst allergic reaction to this product. My entire face broke out into a rash. My skin burned, and then it was so dry it was cracking. My face hurt so bad for over two weeks. I read reviews on this product, and it seems that other people had similar issues with it. For that reason I would pass on this product. If you want to try it out I would get a sample first, and then try it on a small patch of skin for a couple days to see how your skin reacts to it.

Omnia Crystalline Perfume by BVLGARI

The Omnia Crysalline perfume pains me to put in my leave it section. This perfume is definitely a pricey one, and I hate that it doesn’t live up to my liking. It is a very fresh scent with a hint of citrus in it, and I really do enjoy the scent. The packaging is gorgeous! However, the one thing I do not like is that the scent does not last on me. I spray it and within 20 minutes I can’t smell it at all. It fades to a point that it’s like I never put it on at all. For such an expensive price I expect it to last on me all day not for 20 minutes maximum. So for that reason I definitely would pass on this one!

If you have any recommendations for a fresh simple scent that lasts please let me know!

That’s all for this months love it or leave it! I hope you all enjoyed reading my thoughts, and thank you so much for taking time to read through it all. I appreciate it so so much!
