Mask Proof Foundation (Seriously it won’t rub off)

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my quirky corner of the web, or if it is your first time here welcome to the quirky family. How has everyone been? Are we still surviving quarantine or have we totally lost it? I strangely am rarely home due to work, but I still some how feel restricted by quarantine. I am so beyond ready to get life back to normal. I mean I’m not normal in the slightest (I’m awkward AF), but you know I still want my normal back. I’m sure you all can relate at least a little. However, today’s post does relate to our current situation because I have found a foundation after much searching that does not come off onto my mask! So if you are a foundation wearer, and you are tired of your mask being covered in foundation then keep reading!

Today is an exciting one because I am pumped to talk about makeup! That is certainly the one good thing about quarantine, I have got my makeup mojo back! I kind of hit a rut where I wasn’t testing new product, and I wasn’t happy with my makeup. Therefore, that lead me to stop posting about it. My plan was always to do an equal amount of makeup and book posts, but makeup took the back seat for quite some time. However, now I am loving playing with makeup again. If you don’t follow me on Instagram (@kaylejo9822) then you really should because I post a lot of makeup looks over there that don’t make it to the blog. But let’s get into today’s rock star product shall we?

Firstly, can we just appreciate the packaging? I have to admit I am a whore for good packaging, and Lorac nailed it! The bottle is sized perfectly, it’s light weight, and it’s very sleek. It looks and feels high-end to me! When you first look at the bottle it appears too small, but it does have the standard 1.0 fluid ounce of product. I appreciate that they didn’t make the bottle any bigger than necessary. It is minimalist, but sleek. The bottle also does have a pump which I always appreciate when it comes to my foundations. Packaging is the least important thing about a product, but I do enjoy nice packaging especially on expensive products.

Now let’s talk about the actual foundation. I am so sad I took so long to try this product. I had watched a very bad review of this foundation when it first launched, and that kept me from trying it. However, a few weeks ago I decided to pick it up regardless, and man oh man do I wish I had bought it when it launched! The first thing I love is it is packed with good ingredients such as vitamin C, sodium hyaluronate, watermelon extract, apple extract, and lentil fruit extract to help improve your skin. These ingredients are known to improve skins elasticity and hydration while reducing the look of fine lines. In my opinion it is always great to have skin care benefits in your makeup.

The consistency is extremely thin which is why the foundation is light weight. You can achieve full coverage without having a thick layer of foundation. A small dot of this one goes a long way. It is a buildable coverage, and I personally like to have full coverage at all times so I do build it. It still doesn’t take much product to get solid full coverage. It remains light weight, and it looks like skin! This is such a unique formula because it is light enough to mimic skin without being overly dewy. I have normal to oily skin, and since it is Summer I am more oily right now. Typically that means I am limited in my foundation choices because most skin like foundations are dewy which don’t hold up on my skin. The pro soft focus, however, gives me a skin like appearance minus my imperfections with a matte finish. My match made it heaven!

I love that it is still a long wear foundation on my skin. I can get away with a full 10+ hour day, and it still looks good. Now comes the very best thing I discovered! This foundation leaves next to no trace of residue on my face mask. I have been wearing this one to work for a few weeks now, and it is the only one in my collection that does not transfer onto my mask. Never in my life did I think that would be a necessity for a foundation, but here we are in 2020 where the unimaginable is now reality. If you are like me you have searched and searched for a foundation that will stay on your face rather than getting all gross on your mask. Let me tell you, this is the one! Now I know some may think makeup under the mask is pointless, but for me I don’t feel right without makeup on regardless of the mask. That is just who I am. So if you are like me then trust me this foundation is worth the price.

Overall this is simply a new favorite foundation for me. I love that it gives me coverage while remaining comfortable and light weight on the skin. I know it will last all day even with me wearing a mask, and it is giving me skin care benefits all day long. I cannot say it enough, I believe this foundation is 100% worth the price you pay for it. I know it isn’t the cheapest, but it will not let you down. Plus, a little product goes a long way so it will last you a good amount of time. I recommend this to everyone. Honestly even if you have dry skin I think this can still work for you because although it is matte is still has a silky texture to it. All in all I think it is a beautiful foundation, and my only regret is I didn’t buy it sooner. I will be rocking this one for quite awhile.

Thank you guys so much for joining me. I appreciate every second of your time that you spend here with me. If you enjoyed this review please give me a like as it really does help me out.
